Over the years, thousands of students have enrolled in my A Course in Miracles Intensive—a deep, immersive program not originally designed for beginners. This morning I felt a clear nudge to offer a companion path: short, focused lessons that are brief, to the point, and welcoming for those just starting out.

It’s been a few years since I created the Intensive, and my aim now is to make the guidance simpler and less intimidating while still addressing the essential, profound steps of awakening. This Course is for everyone—whether you’re beginning your first pass through A Course in Miracles or you’re a seasoned student looking for a streamlined, practical approach.

Introduction to "A Course in Miracles" 

“This is a course in miracles. It is a required (inevitable) course. Only the time you take it is voluntary. Free will does not mean that you can establish the curriculum. It means only that you may elect what you want to take at a given time. The course does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to the awareness of love’s Presence, Which is your natural inheritance. The opposite of love is fear, but what is all-encompassing can have no opposite. 

This course can, therefore, be summed up very simply in this way: 

Nothing real can be threatened. 

Nothing unreal exists. 

Herein lies the Peace of God.“  

“A Course in Miracles” is a self-study curriculum designed to deepen your personal relationship with—and perspective of—the Divine, naturally inviting personal revelation and first-hand experience that reaches beyond the veil of death.

This intended year-long, daily practice gives you a clear format to fully engage what the Course offers. While the container may be unusual, the journey itself is inward—not in a church or temple, not on a mountaintop with a guru, and not even “with us,” but within you.

The Course often speaks in “Christian” terminology, yet most mainstream traditions that use the name “Christ” would not claim it as the same source. Its aim is not to promote dogma or blind faith (beautiful as those paths can be), but to invite direct, first-hand experience of “Christ” and “God” (by any definition), so you can discover Truth for yourself.

Your practitioner

Your practitioner is a spiritual teacher and mystic who, after a profound death experience and decades of devoted practice, claims to have transcended the physical world and now lives in direct communion with the Wholly-Spiritual Universe. Guided by an inner teacher since early childhood, Devan became a master of multiple energy healing modalities before the age of 20—laying the foundation for a life rooted in multidimensional awareness and sacred service.
