This is a seven week supportive practice

Meditation Mechanics keeps the wonder of meditation while giving you clear, learnable steps. In this course you’ll get structure, support, and simple mechanics you can use in minutes a day—no perfection required, just curiosity and kindness.

What’s inside (the concrete stuff)

  • 7 recorded meditation practices — each paired with a short discussion on a different attribute of meditation (e.g., presence, breath, attention, letting go, compassion, energy, integration) and how to get the most out of it.

  • Daily email reminders for 7 weeks — gentle prompts, micro-tips, and links to the day’s practice to help you integrate the work into real life.

  • Written strategy guides — clear, friendly explanations of why meditation works (attention, nervous-system regulation, habit formation) and how to apply the strategies when it’s easy and when it’s not.

Two complementary modes you’ll practice

  • Passive Meditations (the art of allowing): non-reactive awareness, gentle returning to your anchor (breath/body/presence), and relaxing the nervous system without forcing anything.

  • Active Meditations (creative engagement): guided breath, posture, and simple imagery—like moving calming colors or light through the body—to focus the mind and circulate energy.

What you’ll learn to do

  • Approach meditation with confidence and know what to do next when the mind wanders.

  • Shift into different useful states of mind (for example: calm focus, open awareness, compassionate warmth, grounded energy, creative flow, deep rest, clear seeing).

  • Bring practice into daily life — turn walking, conversations, and work into moments of steady presence.

  • Understand the mechanics — so you can troubleshoot and adapt your practice on your own.

How it flows

Each week you’ll focus on one recorded practice and its companion discussion within 7 daily emails. The written guides give you the “why,” the recordings give you the “how,” and your consistent showing-up builds the “now.”

Our promise (and our honesty)

No one can guarantee a particular inner state or do the practice for you. We won’t pretend to teach you precisely “from within.” What we can do—reliably—is teach you how to teach yourself: the mechanics of anchoring, noticing, softening, returning, and (when helpful) actively guiding energy and attention. With a little, done often, you’ll discover a practice that feels like home.
