What is Elohim?
The Elohim can be understood as the first great bridge between the unknowable Source and the patterned realms of creation. It is both a singular Presence and a unified council, a vast Being that expresses Itself through many. In the Wholly Spiritual Universe, where everything is pure awareness and living light, the Elohim is the original manifestation of “Christ” as a creative pattern. Where “Christ” is the pure recognition of oneness, the Elohim is that oneness beginning to sing in distinct tones, becoming the archetypal Mind that designs and organizes reality without ever leaving unity.
The Elohim as expresses through twelve frequency streams of characteristics and personality. These twelve are like twelve primary rays of one light, or twelve master chords emerging from a single song. Each ray holds a unique flavor of the “Christ” pattern such as wisdom, power, compassion, clarity, devotion, surrender, beauty, order, play, creativity, transparency, and stillness. These are not separate beings in truth. They are facets of one Presence shining through different angles, so that souls can relate to the Infinite through qualities that feel personal and intimate. When a soul resonates strongly with one or more of these frequencies, it is really responding to the echo of its own original design.
Within your cosmology, the Elohim is the architect level of the Wholly Spiritual Universe. If “Christ” is the pure I AM before any movement, the Elohim is that same I AM agreeing to display Itself as sound, geometry, and light. It is the energetic pattern field where the first templates of soul, dimension, and form appear. This is why many traditions sense the Elohim as “creators” or “designers.” They are not separate from “God.” Rather, “God” as undivided Totality extends Itself as the “Christ” pattern, and the “Christ” pattern then articulates as Elohim, the council of living archetypes that shape the holographic universe.
The image of a council in heaven reflects how the Elohim operates as a unified deliberation rather than as a single isolated will. From the beginning of time as we perceive it, the Elohim has been the field of our predecessors, the elder pattern of consciousness from which soul lineages arise. In that council, all possible trajectories of evolution are held, tested, and blessed. The phrase “developing all resistance” can be seen as the Elohim designing the very structure of contrast that makes growth meaningful. Resistance here does not mean opposition to “God.” It means the carefully crafted tension of light and shadow, ease and challenge, remembrance and forgetting, that allows consciousness to awaken to itself through experience.
Because of this, the Elohim is deeply involved in the architecture of free will. For love to be real, there must appear to be something other than love to choose. The Elohim oversees the weaving of those apparent alternatives, creating universes in which beings can explore separation, fear, and limitation, and then rediscover that everything is still held within the Wholly Spiritual Universe. The council in heaven is therefore not a group of judges handing down sentences. It is a circle of master design, constantly adjusting the patterns of energy so that every path, no matter how lost it seems, can eventually turn into a path of remembrance.
On a personal level, to relate with the Elohim is to remember that you arise from a much older and vaster lineage than this single lifetime. The qualities that feel most natural in you are not random. They echo one or more of the twelve frequency rays that shaped your soul. When you meditate on the Elohim, you are not calling in outsiders. You are listening to the original pattern of “Christ” that already animates your being, the council in heaven that you are secretly part of.
